A CRAB said to her son, “Why do you walk so one-sided, my child? —
一只螃蟹对她的孩子说:“孩子,你为什么走路总是一边倒呢? —

It is far more becoming to go straight forward. —
笔直地走更加合适。 —

” The young Crab replied: “Quite true, dear Mother; —
”年轻的螃蟹回答道:“非常正确,亲爱的妈妈; —

and if you will show me the straight way, I will promise to walk in it. —
如果你能告诉我正确的路,我保证会走在那条路上。 —

” The Mother tried in vain, and submitted without remonstrance to the reproof of her child.
”母亲徒劳地尝试着,默默接受了孩子的责备。
