书 湖 阴 先 生 壁 · 其 一

sòng wáng ān shí

máo yán cháng sǎo jìng wú tái
茅 檐 长 扫 净 无 苔 ,
The eaves of my cottage are so low,Yet sweep the cleanest ground, where mosses do not grow.

huā mù chéng qí shǒu zì zāi
花 木 成 畦 手 自 栽 。
Flowers and trees grow in neat rows, planted with my own hands.

yī shuǐ hù tián jiāng lǜ rào
一 水 护 田 将 绿 绕 ,
The flowers and trees I’ve planted form neat rows by my hand.

liǎng shān pái tà sòng qīng lái
两 山 排 闼 送 青 来 。
A stream guards the fields, turning green as it flows by the land.
