qiān chuí wàn záo chū shēn shān
千 锤 万 凿 出 深 山 ，
A thousand hammers, ten thousand chisels out of the deep mountains,

liè huǒ fén shāo ruò děng xián
烈 火 焚 烧 若 等 闲 。
Intense fire burns as if it were mere leisure.

fěn gǔ suì shēn hún bù pà
粉 骨 碎 身 浑 不 怕 ，
Powdered bones, shattered body, utterly unafraid,

yào liú qīng bái zài rén jiān
要 留 清 白 在 人 间 。
To leave purity and whiteness in the human world.
