jīn zūn qīng jiǔ dǒu shí qiān
金 樽 清 酒 斗 十 千 ，
Golden goblets filled with clear wine, priced a thousand coins per measure,

yù pán zhēn xiū zhí wàn qián
玉 盘 珍 羞 直 万 钱 。
Jade plates adorned with exquisite dishes, worth ten thousand coins in value.

tíng bēi tóu zhù bù néng shí
停 杯 投 箸 不 能 食 ，
Setting down my cup and chopsticks, I find myself unable to eat，

bá jiàn sì gù xīn máng rán
拔 剑 四 顾 心 茫 然 。
Drawing my sword, I look around in confusion.

yù dù huáng hé bīng sè chuān
欲 渡 黄 河 冰 塞 川 ，
I want to cross the Yellow River where the ice blocks the way,

jiāng dēng tài háng xuě mǎn shān
将 登 太 行 雪 满 山 。
And climb the Taihang Mountains where the snow covers the hills.

xián lái chuí diào bì xī shàng
闲 来 垂 钓 碧 溪 上 ，
In my leisure, I fish by the clear stream,

hū fù chéng zhōu mèng rì biān
忽 复 乘 舟 梦 日 边 。
Suddenly, I find myself again in a boat, dreaming by the side of the sun.

xíng lù nán xíng lù nán
行 路 难 ， 行 路 难 ，
The road is difficult, the road is difficult,

duō qí lù jīn ān zài
多 歧 路 ， 今 安 在 ？
Many diverging paths, where am I now?

cháng fēng pò làng huì yǒu shí
长 风 破 浪 会 有 时 ，
There will be times when I’ll ride the wind and break the waves,

zhí guà yún fān jì cāng hǎi
直 挂 云 帆 济 沧 海 。
Hoisting the cloud sail to cross the blue ocean.
